I checked in this hotel recently and it was much better than the hotels I had stayed in before. They are still in the process of making a luxurious hotel and getting all the facilities in place. But their rooms were very well-kept. Though the room was small but it had superb interiors. The feel of the room was very posh. I had looked at many hotels in C.P and nearby areas, before taking up a room here. Other hotels had shabby and small rooms and if they were good with the kinda of facilities white klove offered, they were just too expensive. This hotel was such a relief rather I felt fortunate to be able to look out for a place like this.

I am a frequent traveler to delhi for business trips. I tried this new hotel recently, white klove, which was great in terms of facilities and decent tariff. The best thing was, that I had to leave , late night to my native town and they actually packed me some freshly made food.which was actually very good ,which made me feel like home. i booked this hotel specialty due to free wi-fi but unfortunate it was not working due to some line problem but it was very nice for hotel to provide me a portable internet device .

This was my second stint with the hotel and must say that it has changed for the better. The management, although has some new faces but still is as warm and curtious as ever. They have improved their travel desk services. The regular stay in hotel was excellent as ever with amazing room quality, good contemporary experience and good bar. Their rooftop restraunt is also buzzing these days. Over all my tryst with this hotel continues.

Staying in this hotel was a great experience. Positive points just kept on adding up! First of all we arrived at the airport and got picked up by someone from the hotel. When we arrived there, we were a bit shocked by the amount of chaos of Paharganj (the place where this hotel is situated). But inside the hotel its very peacefull, people are very friendly and helpfull.
You would have to get used to the location of the hotel, but afterall its the place to be in delhi for shopping, which we loved!
The hotel itselve looked just perfect, very clean and pretty. When we were there they were building a spa aswell, it should be finished by now..
And then the food, probably the best I had in India.
One last thing, the owner is a real nice guy, always there to help!
Definately a hotel that I would recommend to anyone who wants to make its stay in delhi very, very comfortable.

We have discovered this hotel by a recommendation of a lady we've briefly met in Delhi and it turned out to be one of the best discoveries on our trip to India. The hotel is in a very good location, in bustling and lively Pahar Ganj, but tucked away in a side street so there's no unnerving outside noise. It is very nicely decorated-they claim to be a design hotel and although it is a very far cry from western designer hotels, it is world class for India-especially the bathroom. The front manager, mr Soni is phenomenally helpful and pleasing and one can even negotiate a rate which is much lower than the one on their web site and the service is impeccable. As we arrived at the hotel after one very long and eventful day and were famished, the staff did not mind cooking for us after 11p.m.- they in fact prepared the best meal we have had on our entire trip, served us with joy and attention and although it was considerably more expensive than anywhere outside the hotel, we have enjoyed it immensely.
It is really a fabulous hotel with wonderful rooftop terrace and great value for the money!
The only objection is the fact that there are some sort of works going on at the hotel, so we heard some banging through the nite, but that was not so bad for one night.

The White Klove was a very pleasant surprise. I found the hotel to be very well maintained and as I heard from management, they are a "work in progress" and that they have a vision for more offerings in the near future. As it was, the food was very good, service as well and the room was quiet and comfortable, modern and very clean. There is also a travel service located in the hotel as well as free Internet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Delhi. It is a smart choice for value, service and location. The airport pick-up was my first happy impression. There is nothing like seeing your name on a welcoming sign. I will stay here again on my next visit.

Positives:

Staff Efficiency : V good. Quite knowledable staff. The hotel processes are quite streamlined and efficient. With the additional documentary checks in place in New Delhi these days, still managed to check in with under 5 mins tops. Staff quite helpful. The way they warmly handled my crying son while i was checking in was very kind of them.

Room & Hotel Facilities: Best part of the hotel. Room is amazing value for money. Quite reliable and equipped facilities like the business center, good wi-fi. Bathrooms very nicely kept ( one of my yardstick of quality consciousness of the place), fairly sized room, comfortable beds, good quality air-con, TV etc.

Food quality: Quite good. 1 remarkable thing that chef was very kind to prepare special breakfast for my little son ( who seemed to enjoy that a lot)

Bar: quite impressive spread of bar options. friendly staff, have some amazing ancedotes to pass the time :D

Distance from train station quite a big plus. Airport pick n drop very helpful service.

Negatives:

Menu options: Could add more variety under each cuisine
More Integrated additional services: Like pool, spa etc. But i heard they are coming up very soon with that. Definately something to look forward to.

All in all definately would recommend to my frnds and would love to come back. A new pitstop for me while in New Delhi :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the first 2 nights of our month long stay in India. It was by far the nicest place we stayed for the whole trip! I would echo other reviews comments on the exceptional helpfulness of the staff. Everyone here was so genuinely friendly and helpful. The reception manager ashu spent hours with us helping us to plan our holiday, booking train tickets etc for us. This kind of care really makes an impression and I would recommend this place to anyone due to the quality of staff alone. But the hotel has a lot going for it besides this too… the food was AMAZING! in moti mahal I can still remember the tandoori chicken. Yum! Free internet was really great to have. The hotel is about 30mins from town by the metro which is very efficient and easy to use. The room was spotless, something that we found to be quite unusual as we travelled around India. This was also one of the amazing places we stayed in India and also close to c.p but I do regret spending the little bit extra as it really was great to arrive somewhere so comfortable!

Tucked away in a dingy back street, the hotel is lovely inside. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and can't do enough to help. We were allowed to leave a bag here for five days while we travelled to Goa and back. The food is superb - there is a Moti Mahal restaurant attached to the hotel and there is a comprehensive and tasty Indian choice, plus a Mediterranean option. There is a lovely rooftop restaurant as well! I would definitely stay here again.

On my trip to Manali from Guntur, Delhi was an over night stay. It was nightmare to find this hotel, my cab driver I was in was complaining that the hotel reception was not providing a clear address although we called them several times, we reached there at 21:00 and found the reception quite friendly and warm.

The reception informed us that although we booked a deluxe room, he is upgrading us to a premium room, which was nice. The room itself was very comfy and spacious, the best part was the bathroom which was huge and clean.

Saying this the whole hotel seemed pretty gloomy and seemed like it was something that was not really being looked after. The initial room that they gave us could not be opened as the key would not work, they were swift in proving another room, there were no lights in the walkway which made it look a bit dark and scary, my wife was worried for a bit.

The next morning the check out was swift but there was not water coming through the sink, I did not bother complaining as we did not have time, a decent hotel near to the railway station, I recommend it only for business guests, its a big no no as romantic hotel due to the surrounding which are like a fish market, busy, dusty and unclean.

Since I am very particular about bathroom hygiene, I liked this hotel a lot - very well made toilet, with state-of-the-art 'Jaguar' fittings. The hair dryer wasn't working but I didn't need it.
Room was also sufficiently spacious, however the beds are too soft to maintain a good sleep posture - they economized on the quality of the bed. But part of the room had a soft carpet so I managed sleeping on that along with the soft blankets.
Location is very good as its just a 5-10 mins walk to the metro station. A/C control was good and TV set was also quite good. There was enough space to keep luggage.
They don't provide the facility to keep valuables like laptop in a safe - a great concern as one can not trust the staff with their room's duplicate keys. Basically one can not generally trust the work force at Delhi - no culture.

me and my brother stayed in this hotel at may 2011 for 8 nights.
the hotel is well designed. very nice and very very clean which is very important in place like delhi.
the staff are very helpful, are willing to help any time and want to make sure u are satisfied at all time.
the room - very clean, comfortable bed, good air con, pretty big room.
the restaurant - good food, good service. Radati (perfect english speaking and very very nice service from him) will make a good dinner to an amazing one.
down sides - every day the rooms were tottaly cleand but everyday they forgot to put new towels so we had to call the reception and ask of them to send
the elevators makes problems sometimes
they have sometimes problems withe wifi (but this is like that in all india)

we got a very good price because we stayed 8 nights - if u will bargain a bit youll get your price also
dont expect 5 star hotel cause its not but u pay just a litlle more then a guest house for 3 star with service of 5 star so its worth it.

i would defiantly recommend this hotel - worth the price
b.t.w. - before u decide to stay in main bazar u should ask people about it to know what to expect

Having been a little shocked by the surroundings in which the hotel is located, we were very pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff and the good quality of the room. Alan, the manager, is always on hand to add assistance and his staff are very friendly and polite.
The food in the restaurant, including breakfast, is excellent! And, course, you have the benefit of seeing your food prepared before you.
We enjoyed our stay. Thank you, White Klove.

I stayed at the hotel on a couple of occasions, with a few days in between. I needed to be in the main bazaar area for personal reasons and spent quite a while researching and looking at alternative accommodation. I found none comparable. The hotel is not situated in the main road and can be difficult to find but it is only just behind the main bazaar in a parallel road and easily approached. Building work was going on at adjoining premises and can be an irritant. I found the staff extremely helpful and welcoming, particulalraly Sohail, the transport manager, who assisted in organising trips for me, both locally and afar. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed but one point of warning. Rooms with windows command higher prices but many do not open and are just inches away from brick walls. They do not let in light and are, to all intents and purposes, useless. I did not eat at the hotel and cannot comment. I would certainly recommend the hotel and stay there once again should the opportunity arise but would state that it is not for budget travelers or back-packers, who throng the area in their multitudes.

not possible to eat there. Some background music would be nice there.
Should have a waiter there for drinks.
Food in restaurant in comparing to Delhi too expensive.

We had to go to Delhi for a one-night stay and I was looking for a good, value-for-money accommodation near the New Delhi railway station area. Since it is hard to trust pictures and comments on the internet, I was very reluctant to go there in the first place, but then since we were near Pahar Ganj my girlfriend and I decided to check the place out any way. Eventually I had to stay in Delhi a total of three nights so we extended our stay at The White Klove by two more nights after, out of curiosity, checking out another option nearby in the same price range.

Walking into the hotel, to the reception, interacting with the receptionist, then the supervisor/manager, checking in and entering the room - everything went very well, smoothly and with "positive vibes". The room (including the bathroom, which is a very crucial element for me) was very nicely done and was clean! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The not-so-positive feedback that I would give would be the mattresses (at least in our room) because it would feel nice in the beginning but over night it would start hurting the back! There were no windows in our room, which didn't really bother us because there isn't really much to see outside that we would rather see through the windows instead of being in the streets. Sometimes the staff get really noisy with their jobs early in the morning!

Also we had ordered "Long Island Iced Tea" which tasted nothing like it. The free breakfast was decent, however.

Over all I would say that it was a very pleasant and "cosy" stay at The White Klove.

We needed a place to stay for one night so we just picked this place out of a listing on expedia for its cheap price. The photos on the website looked fine but we had very little expectation cos it was cheap. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. There was free wifi (a rare find in India) and free breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and spacious and there was plenty of hot water. We saw a European couple complaining to the hotel manager about lack of working pool and gym and they managed to get compensation for that but come on! You haven't paid for a five star hotel so what do you expect? This only problem I had with this place was the smell. The room smelled sonewhat funky. If you arrive at this place with a bottle of airfreshener, you'll find yourself at home!

The White Klove was a good place for a short stay in Delhi. Located in Pahar Ganj, it is not central to the main sights of Delhi, but is good for budget shopping, walking around and cheap eats. The hotel is a bit hidden away, so make sure you note landmarks to find your way back. The rooms are very comfortable and modern, and the beds are super. I didn't notice when I checked in that there was no window in my room, which didn't bother me for a 2 night stay, but I would have gone nuts with the disconnect to the outside longer than that.

Upon check-in the staff was quite friendly, but there were some issues with over charging on the bill and they were not accomodating. We ended up over paying because of thier mess up, which was not cool.

Overall the experience was pleasant, The White Klove was expensive, but likely one of the nicest places to stay in the area. They are in the process of building a spa, which would make it more appealing.

White Klove is a nicely made Hotel - Good for a stay. The rooms are newly made & are well maintained. The interiors and the Reception of the Hotel is well made. The newly made rooms are not yet fully perfect (incl no proper locking systems installed yet).
Hotel M'ment appears to be good but their Airport Transfers made me miss my flight. They dropped me at the wrong Airport inspite of my bringing it to notice of some error happening. But overall, the Hotel is worth recommending, barring instances of such mis-handling, considering the costs involved & the quality of rooms, service, etc.

Pahar Ganj isn't exactly our favorite spot in India! But it's very conveniently located, and Kasheesh, the young owner of the White Klove, is committed to developing his facilities to more than compensate for the surrounds. The restaurant was great, and the food prepared very cleanly by their very solicitous chef Krishna; and the main greeter and customer care person Louis was simply extraordinary, and is now a fast family friend; Jyoti, in charge of housekeeping was also wonderful, and continually extended herself to arrange for our comfort - between them all they more than made up for various minor lackings or irritations with the rooms. I know that Kasheesh is raising the standards of everything, and we are confident that we would be well taken care of whenever we might return there ... I did think the prices were high, in relation to what we would expect to get in America for the same price ... but that's Delhi for you, the hotels are indeed outrageously overpriced everywhere. The truth is though, for the week we were there, they made us feel like family, and treated us with genuine affection and did whatever they could to make our first week in India comfortable and reassuring.

I couldn't find the swimming pool, the spa or the fitness centre but did find the bar and that was nice. We had to check out early and from the reaction of the man on reception it appeared to be a problem but he couldn't get hold of his manager. The staff were friendly. Dont book Taxis through hotel do your own "negotiations "on the street outside.
I thought the service from staff was as good as any 5 * hotel ,pleasant and helpful.

Two weeks ago I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel, just around the corner of the busy main street of Paharganj. The service is outstanding and I felt very at ease with all the people right at the start. The rooms are really beautiful, especially the bathrooms are very luxurous. The rooftopterrace is fantastic and trendy. Also they serve beers! Breakfast buffet is good and divers and included. But the beautiful well-meant service will make me come back the next time definitely..
The building is still under reconstruction, soon a swimming pool will be there, and beautiful new rooms are coming. The noise from the construction was not a problem at all, they gave me a room on the other part of the hotel, in which it was very quiet.
The service was completed with a lift to the airport by the car of the owner of the hotel (with his driver)! Something I will never forget my whole life. Thanks a lot again, and wish you all the best with your beautiful hotel.

This hotel was very good. It is in a great urban location, so you can really get a good feel for Dehli. The amenities were very good compared to other hotels I stayed in in India. There was a western style shower, flat screen TV, internet access in common areas, and best of all the service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to any other foreigners travelling in India, because it is a good value and the amenities are comfortable. When I stayed they only took cash, but they said they were having computer problems. I arranged a trip to Agra and Jaipur and the hotel got me a driver which drove me for 3 days and he was excellent. My driver was Mukesh and he was really good. He spoke some English, so it was easy to communicate. When we got to Agra and Jaipur he took us to hotels per our price range, and we checked the rooms and he had no problem taking us to others when we weren't happy with some. If they had all been similiar to White Klove, that would have been great. When you have a driver you can stop anywhere, see sites off the beaten path, and he will arrange for tour guides at Taj Mahal and all the castles in Jaipur. The great thing is the tour guide is only tip based.. All in all this place was a good value and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it, and would also recommend hiring Mukesh if you need a driver in a private cab for a few days. It is the way to go.. The room was good, comfortable, and my main concern is a nice clean bathroom with a western style shower, which they had.

Just off Delhi's main bazaar, White Klove is a quality hotel. You'll pay more than for guest houses on the strip but White Klove is still affordable, at the end of a quiet street and a huge step above these cheaper establishments—a great place to prepare for (or recover from) a long-haul flight. During our stay, General Manager Amar and his team were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Good people, clean surroundings and modern amenities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a little luxury without spending a fortune. Thank you Amar and team, we shall return...

I booked through Kingfisher and the Airport pick up was done perfectely even though my fleight was delayed by more than 2 hours in the wee hours. The hotel area is very dirty, even though that area has more hotels no body bothers to clean the area. Hotel staff are pleasing and wifi internet with good signal is complementary. Very close to Ramakrishna Ahsram Metro. Average room without any window and very bad lighting (half of the room is dark). Dont get carried away by the web site, if you go to the hotel after seeing that in their web site you will regret. Complementary break fast has very little options and it was cold. Room is neat and you wont get better bargain at this price in Delhi. If I am going alone I dont mind staying there again, but with family, I doubt, due to its location.

We are stil waiting for the pick up at the airport... We called and they sayed "take a taxi, pay it and we will refund you".
We had to ask four times for our refund to the reception manager...
When he was out we asked for it to a woman who was at the reception.
She gave us a refund but not for the total amount....
At the check out the reception manager was bad...
The hotel is ok and clean the staff, except the reception manager is very nice.
But one day they made the room at 7 pm.

We stayed at the White Klove for 4 nights. We arrived early and were charged 500 rupees by the night manager and we were not sure if this was a legitimate charge as the day manager was unaware of it. The day manager did allow us a late checkout for free. The breakfast is good and the hotel is clean. We had a leak in our room and had to change rooms. Staff were helpful and courteous. There is free Wifi for guests, The area is safe enough even if at first it is a shock to the senses. You can walk to Connaught place in 20 minutes and the metro ctation is 5 minute walk from the hotel. There are bars and restaurants in the area.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our 16 days in India and it was by far the best hotel for a 3 star that we stayed in. The room was large with a big soft bed and lots of soft pillows. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice. We were happily surprised that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, not found in any other hotel we had during our stay. Shampoo, conditioner and face wash was another unexpected bonus. Morning newspaper delivered free of charge to the room was good too.

the pictures were good and wanted to try this hotel out as it seemed a good deal. but had a tough time finding the hotel and the area is not only noisy, crowded but is also dusty and that put me off; but the room was good and was about to say ok and then a list of things followed; a pigeon was pecking at the opening in the bathroom and the sand was falling off into the floor not to mention the intrusion of the sound; worse was to come when I asked for a taxi to noida sector 62. had used taxis before and paid anywhere between 600 and 800. the travel desk took almost one hour to respond and after haggling agreed for 800 all inclusive. in the morning post my breakfast as I was to ask for the taxi the receptionist tells I have to pay 1000 and I was surprised; when I asked him I should have been told, he kept saying you have to pay or the taxi wont come; as it was an important meeting and was delayed paid the money and ruched out; but felt cheated; the food is not great but they charge quite a bit for it. last the wifi worked for some time and did not after that and they had no technician around to help;

Slightly expensive for the quality. There appears to be many levels of authority that need to be addressed before individual staff can act appropriately. This resulted in slow service at times. Aside from this, staff were friendly and welcoming. Late pick-up from airport and location was appreciated.

This place wasn't bad. It had some boutique touches but nothing is quite finished.
The website is by far more attractive than the real thing. That said the room was clean
and the complimentary pick up was nice... however the car was dirty. You have to pay for drop off which is okay but again the car was disgusting. Take a taxi.
Staff were helpful but most seemed new and it took five staff to pin point the place on a map. The area around is pretty dirty but so is everywhere in India so don't let that put you off. The markets at night are good.
The metro station is walking distance and it's a great way to get around Delhi and give the Auto rickshaws a miss. Saves you time, money and energy.
The restaurant food wasn't bad and the breakfast is the same as you'll get anywhere in India. I found however that it was a bit overpriced.

Tucked away down an alley, this hotel is not easy to find at first. However, it is a nice break from the hustle and bustle outside and the atmosphere is very calming. Our room was nice, but there were dirty sheets on our bed when we arrived. We had to ask a couple of times for them to change them, which they eventually did. Staff were otherwise helpful and very nice. Breakfast was disappointing though!

not as good as the pictures on the website.
The room was reasonably clean - and the bathroom was good (although I heard another guest checking out because of rats in the room - I did hear a couple of noises at night - a little disconcerting!). The air-con worked ok- but driped water onto the TV - not great planning!!
The room had no windows (which I hate) - although I did see some of the rooms with windows - and to be honest they looked worse.
The hotel is down a pretty grim street - but feels quite safe.
Big problem with ongoing building works - not good if you are over early morning and looking forward to sleeping a bit late!
I found the service very good (which I why overall they got 3 stars and not 2).

Overall - think carfeully before staying here. The hotel could be good - but has some way to go.

I travelled here with a large group of family members ranging from 3 months to over 75 y/o. The customer service was outstanding that nearly paralled the Oberoi. The duty manager Sohil was extraordinarily helpful. The staff was extremely friendly and assisted with any requests. The breakfast was quite nice. The hotel was under a lot of construction on a street that would be classified as somewhat questionable. I think that when the construction is complete, the hotel will be very nice. It is very close to a lot of street shopping. Walking around outside late at night should be avoided. This is a very reasonable hotel for the budget traveller. As noted by other visitors here, the hotel is difficult for taxi cab drivers to find. Make sure you at least have the phone number of the hotel (I had a google map as well) so that the taxi cab driver can call if they are unable to locate it.

for a tour of Delhi, as we had not pre-booked we searched for various hotels in Pahargunj and finalized on this as it offers fantastic value for
Money and is situated well within the proximity of Delhi railway station. Staff is courteous and assists in organizing tour for you. We ate outside
And hence cannot comment on the food quality also we did not encounter any families around and hence cannot comment on it too. Hotel rooms are
Clean and well maintained, the road to this hotel and places exterior to it are too congested and unclean, but one should expect it around Delhi.
For one day stop over traveler this place makes a decent option in Delhi.

Das Hotel ist aktuell eine einzige Baustelle. Überall wird gehämmert und gebohrt. Man muss also ziemlich lärmresistent sein.

Stayed in the hotel for a long weekend, first we got a room with a very thin wall, we could everthing from the other room. So we asked for a better room, which we got. The rooms were clean, it takes ages before you get food in the restaurant.

On our last day in India I needed to send some postcards to friend, so I asked the reception where I could find the postoffice, the guy at the reception said he could post it for 100rs per postcard, quite expensive but it was my last day. Up untill today (late august) I have never received those postcards, also a friend of mine who did the same thing too, never received the cards. So the reception must have kept the money and thrown the postcards away.

If something looks a little too good to be true, it usually is. This certainly applies to the White Klove. I was actually looing at higher priced hotels, but saw the WK at around USD70 a night, with some nice looking pics and mixed bag of reviews so I thought I'd try to save a few bucks. I was expecting clean and functional at a minimum. I guess I got that, albeit barely functional.
Check was fine, my first hint of what was to come was when I got to the room, there was a key card lock, but no card. Clearly never operational, it had a large bolt and padlock to secure the room. OK, sure not a big deal.
Inside the room, it LOOKED fine. However the bed had the world's most pathetic excuse for a mattress, the aircon produced air but didn't cool it and similarly the hot water prodcued water but did not heat it. The standard issue hotel safe was not secured into the closet, hence I felt unsafe leaving my goods in there as those things aren't heavy and could be easily stolen. On the plus side, the mini bar was cheap.
The pool was a construction site and kinda smelly. In fact, the overall impression I got was a well intentioned construction project that simply ran out of cash. It's kinda 60% there, then the money ran out and the remaining 40% was finished with 5% of the budget.
Oh - one last thing, the main light in the room could only be turned off with the master switch, so I couldn't charge my phone overnight. I ended up removing the light globe from the fitting.

The problem with this hotel is the location, its too much polluted , then , the food in the restaurant is not worth it for this amount you pay, paying 300 rupees on uncooked tandoori, nt worth it, the buffet in the morning is not worth it at all,
The rooms are fine and well kept, the air conditioned rooms are just ok but because of the construction works, black particles come, then cats are there on the floor,
The transport desk is too expensive, better take cab outside the hotel.
Staff are very nice.

Reached hotel at 11 : 30 p.m, due to prior engagements. Firstly, couldn't find hotel since Clear Trip mentioned " Connaught Place" as the area. This place is in Pahadganj, the ghetto of Delhi. So location was rubbish. Entered the hotel and was a bit relieved to get a welcome drink. Check in was quick, and after reading prior reviews, I confirmed and reconfirmed by air port transfer for next day at 7 a.m.

Rooms are OK, bed is small , but room is decent. Bathroom was good. Slept of immediately, and woke up at 7 am. The buffet breakfast was very OK, but they make fresh masala omlettes so thats good. There was a cockroach near the cereals so avoid them at all costs.

Overall the location and breakfast was poor, hotel was OK. I have been to Cabana in GK, and thats much better and would recommend that , for a real value-for-money experience.

I stayed in White Klove for one night before my tour in Rajasthan in October. I had plans (and reservation) to come back but I never did. Why? Firstly, promised pick-up from airport never arrived. I called to hotel twice (with my European GSM, expensive) and finally I took a taxi. Hotel promised to pay me the expenses which they did but staff really behaved churlish while doing that. They made jokes of me in front of me and as I request to get manager, Amar, on spot they refused to do it. Secondly hotel really did not reach expectations. Website is beautiful but not real truth. My room was okey but as first thing I fixed curtains which have falled partly down. Room was dark and gloomy. I got much better breakfast in another hotel in Delhi later on. My second hotel belonged to same price category as White Glove. If you will ask me, I would not recommend this place at it was full of broken promises. Sorry.

I booked this hotel on the strength of a recommendation in The Guardian newspaper and the smart hotel website with its photos of a very appealing, stylish boutique hotel. Unfortunately the reality was far from appealing. Granted, our room had some boutique touches like a big flatscreen TV and big white stones artfully arrayed on shelves. But what made a greater impression is that there was no hot water from the shower. In fact there was hardly any water at all, just a dribble from the over-sized designer shower-head. The tap on the sink was loose and wobbly, and also just dribbled cold water. We had no sheets or duvet on the bed, just a bottom sheet and pillow cases that were grubby and covered with hairs from previous guests. It took 30 minutes to get new bed linen. The telephone didn’t work either. We were woken at 2am by loud voices in the next room, which on investigation turned out to be hotel staff making up the room! In the middle of the night? Plus the room was infested with cockroaches, a couple of which scuttled from under my clothes when I picked them off the shelves the next morning. I was hugely relieved to check out.

I booked this hotel online during my first trip to India. The location is good, quiete, as you only walk about 15-20 mins to the nearby Train station through the dusty, post-war look alike street. Great for those need to wake up early to catch the Shatadbi Express to Agra. (6.30am). The hotel pick up is a plus. The room is big, basic and ok. We stayed at the 3rd floor and the view was blocked. One major complain is the bed. I think the bed desperately need a change. The bed spring is way too soft. And the blanket they offered is smelly!!We slept through the night without using their blanket.

Breakfast is fine. Moderate 3 stars buffet breakfast. The chefs are friendly and offered us their specialty. Very nice. Whereas the front desk people keep pursuading us using their travel services. And that's all they can offer. When we really seek help on travel information, we were dissappointed.

There isn't any decent restaurant nearby. But a lot of local street foods. Infact, Delhi is much easier to move around nowadays with Metro. And there are plenty of decent hotels located around the Metro.

At first sight, the hotel looked welcoming and we'd stayed in the area before, which is fine communication and safety-wise, so no problem there. The hotel was clearly unfinished, with bits that looked new, while others were a pile of bricks (the room behind reception for example...). However, the problems really started as soon as we had to deal with any of their incompetent and rude reception staff. Check-in was painful, and I'm still at a loss why it took 3 people to show us to our room (we only had 2 bags to carry!). I'm equally at a loss why those 3 people were unable to explain why our room was unfinished, why the telephone and table lamp were on the floor (given the lack of a table), why there was a large gap into the adjoining room, why our bed consisted of a mattress on top of another mattress, and why mosquitos seemed to be breeding freely in the air conditioning duct (minus air conditioning unit...). On completing a minor mosquito killing spree, we slept fine (the hotel was in a relatively quiet location) but were woken at 5 am by the tv in the adjoining room, which was actually a part of our own. The most excruciating experience though proved to be when attempting to check out. I'm not sure whether it was the manager shouting at everyone, the utterly clueless receptionist who kept losing documents, tried to charge me the wrong price and disappeared with my credit card, her helper who tried to charge my card EUR 2,000 rather than IRS 2,000 and then trying to look over me as I keyed in my PIN number, or the same manager who was clearly approaching a conniption fit, but we could not wait to leave. I have to assume given some of the comments on here that they do have rooms that are finished and quite nice, but the staff we encountered were hopeless, rude and downright unpleasant. To be avoided!

What a let down. The hotel and reports looked promising. But walking along the Bizarre we were a little worried what we had let ourselves in for. On getting to the hotel with its clean modern frontage we were very relieved. However the reception staff, all 5 of them, were hopeless, constantly on their mobile phones and not in the least customer focused. It took us around 2 hrs to get booked in and even then they retained our passports which I was not happy about. When we were taken to a room by a manager of some sort it was not ready (in fact it looked as if it had just been furnished). We were tired and hungry but we said we were not happy with this room and were moved to another. This room was mostly finished but was full of builders dust and had no safe, telephone and the towels were dirty.
We went out and came back and asked for another room, which they were good enough to move us in to the best room so far. A safe was brought to us by a little lady so it wasn’t bolted down to anything and was so light it was pointless having it.
When we came back from our trip out on the next day we were told that our room had flooded and we had been moved to yet another room. The flood was due to something going wrong with the plumbing and the fact that the wet room floor was higher that the rest of the room with no water barrier. Bad planning. As we were leaving very early the next morning we asked for an early morning call. When we got up to our own alarm we found out the room didn’t have a phone and no one had bothered to knock on the door. When we got to reception to book out we knew why, everyone was asleep. When we did leave we vowed never to return. The commonwealth games had made someone very greedy. They were in the process of building more rooms, had over booked the hotel; just could not cope and it was very poorly managed.

The staff in the restaurant and bar were good polite and helpful.

A couple of the “managers” were more interested in “helping” with your visits to various places with their “special drivers”. We over heard one family who had been to the Taj Mahal and had spent 5hrs each way in a car not to mention all the shops that they had stopped at. It had cost them far more than a simple train ride and entrance fee. These “managers” were taking their fare share of the payments I have no doubt.

Over all the White Klove could and should be a good hotel. But it needs a good manager and to be focused on it’s paying customers oh and they need to finish building it. I hope it gets better but then could it get any worse?

For the moment a lot of noise, but if you are out all day, you may not care. There is the dust, and open doors, and everybody everywhere, the cats in the corridors and the bugs in the rooms. With new equipment comes a junior team. Very junior. Somebody will have to convince them what has to be done and when and how.

We were attracted to this hotel due to the promise of facilities that were never available. You can get cleaner rooms with much better customer service and working facilities for a fraction of the price.

We paid a premium price due to the promise of a pool, wifi, comfortable beds and hot water. The pool was never full, the wifi did not work, the room we were shown was not the room we got, the 3rd bed was a very uncomfortable camp bed, the hot water did not work and the water boiler leaked on to the toilet.

The manager was very rude and would not allow us to check out without paying in full despite none of the promised facilities actually working. He even insisted that he had given a discounted rate and the promised facilities were complementary therefore we were not entitled to them. If he had apologised and given us a reasonable rate for the facilities provided I would have been happy, however he argued with us and would not admit to misleading us, and denied the conversation we had had re our requirements for paying the high price.

This is definitely not a boutique hotel as advertised and I would recommend staying at a nearby hotel for a nicer relaxing stay and pleasant management.

We were very attracted to this hotel as it boasted a swimming pool, free wifi, boutique status, and stylish rooms. We had been travelling for a while and wanted a bit of luxury before heading back to England as a treat.
We were shown two lovely rooms and booked in for two nights, starting the following day.
When we arrived we were taken to a completely different room. Much smaller and not very well kept. We left out bags and went back out to Delhi to enjoy another day. When it came to showering later there was no hot water. After two calls to reception they finally came up to the room to rectify the problem, leaving us with hot water but a leak that was running onto the toilet.
We had checked in to share a room for three. We paid 1000rps extra for the privalidge of an uncomfortable camp bed wedged into our small room.
We then discovered our complimentary wifi was not working.
When we checked in, the pool was filling. We stated that the reason we wanted to stay here was most importantly due to the pool facility. We were assured the pool would be ready on our arrival. When we went down after our cool showers however, the pool was still in the same state. We were again promised by the night this would be rectified.
At 9pm the pool was still in the same state, This was the final straw. We requested to leave and pay a minimal fee for the use of the shower on the grounds that our stay was not at all as we were promised. The hotel manager insisted if we wanted to leave we had to pay the full amount. He 'would not allow us to leave the premises' unless we paid the full amount. He did not seem to care that the promises he had made had not been forfilled.
It was a complete waste of money. How they can call this a boutique hotel I really don't know. There is far better out there for much less money. They will lie to get you to stay and then they simply don't care. Give your custom to more deserving people.

Nobody called us nor the fire alarm worked, we tried as we could to go down the stairs using our torch...we couldn't breath or see anything as the emergency lights didn't work at all. were terribly scared!!
Around 5:30 am the staff from the hotel provided us a double room in another hotel nearby but we decided to cancel our reservation, just in case.

My friends and I booked 6 rooms in this hotel for three nights. Despite us checking that they had all our bookings, they did not have enough rooms for us and were so disorganised they had not idea what was going on and we were still waiting for check-in at 7pm after arriving at 1pm. I ended up staying on the floor of the room of a friend as they did not have my room, despite having my booking. They then refused to give us a refund, despite the fact that they had not provided a room and even tried to charge us for a spare bed in my friends' room!! We ended up arguing with the manager for 4 hours before they would give us a refund for the room, even then they gave us less than we'd paid for the room and admitted they were 'hoping we wouldn't notice and would give them a discount' and laughed. Unbelievable and not funny as it was by this point 2am after the arguments.

They were so disorganised that when we asked for the key to my room, they gave us a key (luckily to our friends' room) and we walked into their room as they couldn't remember which rooms they had given out and which they hadn't. This made us very nervous about leaving our stuff in the room as they obviously just handed out the keys. Two of my friends also ended up in rooms with no lock, just a padlock on the outside and a bolt on the inside! My friends checked into this room quite late at night and they couldn't find the key to the padlock, so simply unscrewed the lock, meaning that my friends had to pack all their stuff up the next day and leave it in our room because they couldn't lock their room from the outside!

This hotel does not have internet most of the time either. Every time we asked for it they said it would be working again in a few hours.

The smell in the bathrooms due to poor drainage is horrendous, only made worse by turning on the fan.

Despite being quite close to attractions this hotel is in a very dodgy area down a dirty alley. This meant that it was almost impossible to find and no taxis or tuk tuks knew where it was. Given that the address on their business cards is actually a list of instructions (behind the cinema, near the metro station etc.), we probably should have realised this. Obviously this meant that we had to take taxis from the hotel with a healthy 50% commission added on top by the 'travel manager' as you cannot exactly walk out and wave down a taxi.

I couldn't have had a more stressful trip to Delhi.

We so disappointed with this hotel. They advertise the hotel as a boutique hotel but it is definitely not one. It was dusty (construction going in and around the vicinity), dirty, noisy and very uncomfortable. The only value was the location because it has the authentic India that cannot be experienced staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel. The management is good only in the morning. We were picked up at 3:00 a.m. by a lunatic driver from the hotel who went through red lights all the way. Also, the staff tries really hard to make you feel comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel looked very nice on the internet. It is down a backstrret, but is close to the underground so the location is ok. Taxi and Rickshaw drivers had trouble finding it.

Room was small and well decorated, however the bathroom stank due to the poor drainage and the room smelt as damp had infested the walls. The floor was also constantly wet due to the broken air conditioning. They had placed 2 plug in air freshners in the room to mask the smell, with no effect!

The room was also not clean, especially the floor and bedsheets.

The owner and staff are not very helpful - the service was appalling. The air conditioning was never fixed and we had to ask them to clean our room. Also, we didnt eat the breakfast or in the restaurant as we were advised by a fellow traveller that the kitchen was incredibly dirty - we later saw the kitchen for ourselves and were grateful we never did! Do not drink the 'welcome drink' they give you on arrival - they charge!

Tours and trips booked through the hotel are also extortionate.

There is a nice rooftop area where you can have meals and drinks but you cannot sit up there on a night as it has little to no lighting!

My colleagues and I had booked (and paid for) four rooms for five nights back in August, so we were valuable customers but when we arrived, it was plain they'd lost our reservations. The staff were unco-operative and churlish. Eventually they found us accommodation but my colleague was given a nasty little room whose window was boarded over with scraps of plywood and which had none of the amenities - safe, air-conditioning, hairdryer - promised by the website. My room had a very noisy electrical converter thumping away all night outside my window. The hotel was in the midst of renovations (which had been going on for some months) so none of the facilities - spa, swimming pool - were available. Even the superior rooms were covered in dust; even the air seemed full of dust.
We found a different hotel the next day.

We had booked this hotel for our first 3 nights in India but left after one night - filthy carpets in the room, pad locks on the door, dripping a/c unit on the bed ... the only good thing was the food in the restaurant... we left and went to the Karol Bagh area nearby where there were many hotel options that were much cleaner, much nice (marble floors and walls), etc and half the price. The hotel offered pick up from the airport - there were 5 of us with our luggage and they sent a vehicle that could only fit 3 of us with our luggage on the roof top. The hotel is located on a unpaved very dusty street - which in India is not unusual but this place was the pits! This place is a rip off! don't know why anyone in their right mind would stay here

I strongly warn you please be seriously to chose this hotel. We arrive here in the evening , what a dirty mess place of the surrounding. Our room was terrible, dirty, and the bed is soft and totally unconfortable. we don't have blanket and sheet in the room. And we call the service boy he didn't willing to service us without tips, since we haven't change the money, after we promise to give the tips tomorrow morning , he gaves us sheet after waiting for a long time. !
The room photoes on their website is totally cheating.
Breakfast is so so.
Room tarrif is more expensive than others, doesn't value indeed!

We we excited to come and stay in Delhi and support our daughter who was taking part in the Commonwealth Games for England. We were equally excited when we found the Hotel White Klove online! Everything about it suggested that it was a highly organised and clean hotel; judging by the impressive 3D introduction. We were seduced and booked at the end of July 2010. My wife and I read the TripAdvisor reviews much later and dismissed some of the negative comments as subjective. Unfortunately we should have paid more attention. It was a nightmare from the beginning. There was no one to collect us from the airport and when we evetually arrived at 11.00 p.m. we were told that our room was not really and were kept waiting for another three hours before being taken to another hotel across the street which was most unsuitable and dirty and we had to still pay 2,8000 rupees! We felt that we had no choice but to stay as we were both tired. When we eventually got to the White Klove, there was another 2 hour wait. The reception staff seemed to run around like misdirected chickhens and seemed incapable of answering a simple question, such as, "When will our room be ready." It seemed like an anti climax when we eventaully got to the room which was okay. The hotel is undergoing quite a significant overhall and there is dust everywere which seems to get everywhere! We spoke to another English couple whose daughter was swimming for England. We all agreed that the White Klove has the makings of a good boutique hotel but are not quite there yet due to ongoing refurbishment and poor fixtures some of which are already bearing the brunt of wear and tear which in a few years time, cheap flooring and bathroom chrome fixtures (in the older part of the hotel) will have to be replaced. The White Klove hotel is NOT EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. Not yet anyway. The one redeeming feature was the resturant food which is fabulous and the staff were courteous and very helpful. Oh and by the way, there is no gym, spa, rooftop resturant! Just a lot of dust and poor customer service.

O hotel eh muito mal localizado, dentro de uma regiao parecida com uma favela, com muita miséria e sem segurança.

O hotel esta há muito tempo em obras, o que gera sujeira por toda parte. A limpeza e os odores não são dos melhores.
