A good chain of hotel at economic price in NCR. The location is good and easy to locate. The rooms are good, clean and well maintained. The staff is well groomed and customer oriented. The food is good and the menu is tempting too. The best part is it is approved by the Delhi Tourism and is safe and secured. The only problem could be finding a vehicle to commute from there

We are in Delhi transiting to Kullu. The pick up was on time and the drive from the airport was smooth and short. Check in was completed smoothly and quickly. The room has a great bed although small and is good for a short stays.

The downside was the check out. We checked out 4 in the morning for a purpose as we had to catch a early morning flight. However the person at the desk took nearly 40 mins to check us out.

We did room service and the food was good!

My husband and I had a very good stay at the hotel on our visit last christmas. The room was comfortable, clean and services were very quick and easy. Extra facilities were a bonus on a stay-in day. We enjoyed Delhi because of the comfortable shelter and its location.

Hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are modern with good facilities. Located a short drive from Nehru Place,. Nowhere within walking distance to see, but good if you are travelling through Delhi. Tours were possible.

Restaurant was good with an excellent breakfast.

Stayed here for one night while i was transfering through Delhi on my way to Kashmir. It was clean and comfortable. No problem with early check in. Breakfast was very good as was Dinner. Close to the airport so that is only took 20 mins to get to. Not to far from the old parts of the city which meant i was able to go site seeing in the afternoon with out much hassle.

Rockland Hotel, the location was not so pleasing but taking into consideration other areas like Jaipur that i have been to, it was not bad at all. At least there was life in New Delhi. The rooms were quite small compare to a Hotel in Agra. Besides all, the room was very clean and organised. beautiful bedding and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel staff were amazing, so helpful and eager to assist you and the communication was better (English) compare to other cities visited. The two nights spent there was fantastic and the food was fair (more could be done to improve).

Room size is small and the passage and staircase are narrow with restaurant in the basement.

From the outside, Rockland looks like just another run of the mill smallish business hotel. But for the location and price, it is a very good bargain.
Location - Very near Nehru place, you can get to the main shopping and business areas of Delhi easily. Easy to get taxis too - either on the road or the hotel will call in for you.
Clean rooms furnished with an aesthetic sense not usually seen at this kind of hotel. However room size is not very large, in keeping with the central location.
Service - this is where the hotel really scores. I dont think that I have seen such enthusiastic and respectful staff anywhere else in Delhi.
Breakfast - very very average. Has fair number of dishes but half of them are things that are hard to imagine eating first thing in the morning.

We stayed here as part of a large group of around 20 for 4 nights.
A few hiccups at the beginning like rooms. The room sizes vary, and we had the "Mexican Suite" Room 231, which was a reasonable size room compared to some other people.
The breakfast is not great, however the staff, room decor and Bathroom was fantastic!!.
Our favorite place was the roof top terrace where we met up most nights.
The hotel is more for business people and the hotel is located on a major road with a small market around the corner.

We booked the hotel at the last minute through a travel agent. Their website had nothing to justify the tariff, but after the initial hiccups due to communication gaps, we were rewarded with a pleasant room, excellent air-conditioning and a luxurious bathroom.

On the downside, our sheets were not changed after the previous guests had left and so we were treated to a sight of stains and other after-effects before we requested the sheets to be changed.

Breakfast was so-so and could use a lot of improvement. This is essentially a business hotel and so, the crowd there were not necessarily the tourist types.

Stayed 3 nights to attend a conference about 4 kms away. Very helpful, friendly service at reception and at the restaurant. I was upgraded to a suite, which was great. I had a look at their standard rooms one day and they were smaller, but significantly, there was no window for natural light ( a significant matter to me). That said, this is a very clean, well-maintained hotel, especially its bathrooms. I'd agree that the food was average, although ample in quantity, but there are no restaurants within walking distance. Nehru Place, 2 kms away is your best bet. Its also your nearest metro station. Autorickshaws are quite plentiful if you stand on the Outer Ring Road or one of the roads that enter PanchSheel Enclave - and to Delhi auto drivers credit, they stick to the metered fare and return even the smallest change!!!! The high point of the hotel - to repeat - is its very helpful and obliging service.

I checked in with my colleague and we were sharing a double room. Rooms are really small and in none of the double rooms you have seperate beds. There was a queen size bed ( I doubt if it was queen size also). Mini bar was name sake , there was nothing other thn a water bottle ( Not sealed).
Morning I wanted to get my shirt ironed but the room service guy said it will take 2 Hrs for that so I gave up the idea.
Over all not worth the money.

Booked through an internet website (prepaid) but when arrived at the hotel, they refused to honor the voucher and said that they were sold out. I had two rooms reservation and they finally gave me one room after arguing for 45 mins which was exhausting after my SFO-DEL flight. They squeezed the two of us in one room with no refund or apology for the overbooking. While checking out in the morning, they charged us extra for the room and when I complained that I had wanted and already paid for two rooms, they started the stalled tactics. Front desk people are not empowered and have to call someone for every little question and finally since I was getting delayed, I paid extra on top of two room charges for a sleeping in a single room with my colleague.

Hotel itself was passable, but they did not have any towels in the room and the bathroom was very small. They did us towels after we reminded them twice about it.

Breakfast was below average for Delhi.

The hotel I stayed in is a branch of the Rockland Hotel located in the CR Park area of Delhi. Breakfast and dinner were included in the room rate, which was around Rs. 6,000/night. The food at breakfast was gross. Terrible leftover vegetables, parathas which were the worst I have ever eaten and black coffee which is provided as a powder with hot water!! When I asked that they bring in an omelette for me from outside and that I would be willing to pay for it, they refused. They advertise a vegetarian omelette on their room service menu and tell me that it is made from flour without eggs. Another guest told me that is tasted very bad. Even if the South Indian food is bad, I always expect good parathas in Delhi. The food was overly salty and gross. Dinner was equally bad. But when I ordered room service in between the two meals----meaning that I was paying for the food, I imagined that the food was from another kitchen, because it was tasty and well presented.

The room was noisy with the hotel staff speaking loudly outside the room throughout the day and very early in the morning. In fact, there was a supervisor yelling at the staff right next to my room for about 10 min before I had to open the door and tell them to be silent. I never wanted to stay in this hotel, but was put up there by the organization I worked with on that trip. It is a rip off, They over charge for the airport pick up---more than Rs 650. You can prepaid taxi from the airport for much less.
